To go to our online catalog, click here, then go to the left side of the screen, click on "Resource Lists" and scroll down until you find "U.S. Presidents" then click on it for a list of titles. We can also get a book from the public library for you if we don't have what you need.

In-Text Citations:

In MLA, in-text citations are inserted in the body of your research paper to briefly document the source of your information. Brief in-text citations point the reader to more complete information in the Works Cited list at the end of the paper. Note that the period goes after the parentheses not inside the quotation marks.

• In-text citations include the last name of the author followed by a page number enclosed in parentheses. "Here's a direct quote" (Smith 8).
• If the authorś name appears in the text of the sentence, you only need to put the page number in parentheses. (Smith said ¨Ḧereś a direct quote¨ (8).
